When will Nadal become the new #1?

Over the last month the question of whether Nadal will become the #1 player in the world has changed to when? As Federer continues his fall out of the top of the game it seems like nothing can stop Rafa right now. He's on a 27 match winning streak and he's collecting trophies left and right.
